Creating on-line UPS shipping label
How come I cannot seem to do this properly? I just started doing this on-line shipping label thing. When I enter the "bill to recipient" information, it always tells me that it's an invalid account number. I am putting in the exact same information I am given by the hiring entity. I seem to be able to do the FedEx on-line shipments alright, but so far not the UPS! Any suggestions?

It's a pita on UPS. Go toward the bottom (I think) and look for more options maybe??? It is doable...just difficult til you figure it out.

When you enter "bill recipient" you must also enter your account towards the bottom of the pop up box. I had the same problem and called UPS tech support for help.

See if this helps
When you select bill receipient and it takes you to the next screen, you put in their info, correct? Then you have to associate an account and it cannot be the same account. You have to associate your account with the shipment even though it's billing them. Hope this makes sense and that it helps.

Also, if you're putting in dashes or spaces because that's how the number was provided to you, try leaving them out. I think that also caused me trouble.

I had this problem - do you have your account number entered into your profile?

Re: Creating on-line UPS shipping label - SUCCESS!
Hi All, thanks for the tips. I just did a test shipment using an account number for the last UPS deal I did (without actually going as far as creating a shipping label) and the problem was that I was not associating my shipper's account number with the shipment, so thank you to Becca and Cassie for pointing that out to me! I appreciate the help form everyone else, too!
