Dual tray for Brother MFC 8840 D

Can a dual tray be added to a Brother MFC 8840 D. If so, will the printer be able to distinguish legal from letter size paper. I have been receiving numerous request to print document in the size they are formatted. This is troublesome, but more importantly time consuming. If my printer can not be adjusted for this then can somebody recomment a good but affordable printer to do this.

Yes you can add the tray. When you set the printer on the second tray, the printer will reconize it. You may also need to go into your printer settings to tell it which tray is legal and which is letter.
