Going after payment

How many of you has not been paid for a job. How do you go after payment. I company I did a job for lives in Ca I live in Montana, a little hard to go beating on the door for it... Any suggestions???

I can sympathize with you there. I have done four signings for Signatures Plus - starting back in October - and have yet to be paid. I have spoken to and emailed the accounts payable woman, and she just keeps telling me she is working on it. I have emailed the president of the company - never received a reply back from her. This is a very unprofessional company and I would stress that you all think twice before doing signings for them. If you want to be paid anyhow.
