Are you serious??? It is a very very light color (#fffaf0 - pretty close to #ffffff white) and is hurting your eyes so much? .. for crying out loud to Harry in th forum. I like the changes being made. Give the man a break.

We're experimenting with a few different colors. Light grays, beige, peach, light blues, etc. It could be all the hours I spend on the computer, but the black on white starts to swim on me. (I even have my LCD monitors at 50% brightness.)
I also moved to a fixed width and added a little spacing between lines. Reading long lines all the way across the monitor seemed more difficult than it needed to be.

Ditto what Barbara said, but ixnay the pink, IMO.
I hate pink and pink makes people feel ill. Gray/Blue is a soothing color, where as pink, makes people feel anxious and ill. Pink = Puke to me...think Pepto.
