Hello Lauren,
For now, this is the only feedback that I can give you.
I would like to help you, but you will have to say what it is you want. You can't just say, "help", and expect people to be mindreaders, and know what it is you want. It's like going to the doctor and saying, "I don't feel good.", and expect him to cure you. I'm not just saying this to you. This is directed at anyone and everyone.
Please accept this as constructive criticism. One of the things you're going to have to be able to do as a business person is express yourself. For example, if you go to a bank, looking for funding to start your business, they are going to want to know why they should give you money. If all you can say is, "I dunno. I just need it.", doors will close on you.
Take some time to formulate any questions you have. If you have sincere questions, I guarantee you, I'll be one of the first to give you an answer. Right now, I, along with everyone else, am totally in the dark as to what kind of "feedback" you're looking for. And if you want, there is a private message feature you can use. Or send an email.
Good luck.

Re: Help Im a new Notary - Whatcha got for us???
In my inspector group a new inspector signed on the other day and said, "hey, I need a list."
I sent my list out to her (and to the whole group again) because lots of newbs might need it.
A member, Helen, responds: Hi Newb, how 'bout you do some research and make a list of your own? You must learn how to do your research to be successful.
Well...Newb signs back on and says, "Helen- BrendaTx isn't afraid of competition, ha ha, she sent me a list!"
In turn I say: (Paraphrased) "Look, Newb, Helen offers lots of info to me on true WAH opps...she's generous where there's a give/take relationship...we trade stuff out. However, if you aren't industrious enough to dig a list up out of these archives then you will not be someone she wants to refer!
Before I started this group I had something to give its members so a few generous ones would give back to me. In my notary world, before I asked for anything, I figured out what I could GIVE...what I had to offer.
If you check my history you will find I created my own ways to help others and I gave first. I never went with my hand out ASKING without having something already given out or something ready to GIVE back.
As a result, I have been showered with help, info and inspiration.
I suggest all new people figure out what they can BRING to this forum before they ask for feedback, etc. What you will find if you do that is that you will learn a ton by getting info together to share and you will get leads, love, friendship and work by having the right attitude about GIVING before expecting to receive more than you give.
Well...that's my theory...slashers and bashers and haters of people like me...

Wow you are new, just commissioned Feb 5th! Best advice I can give you is to study the governor's manual until you know the notary laws backwards and forwards. Make sure you do some regular notary work before you think of doing loan signings. Florida is saturated with signing agents.
