I should be at a signing now . . .
but, I could not open part of the e-docs because the eLynx password I was sent did not work. The signing agency could not locate an afterhours phone number and signing will have to be rescheduled. Borrowers are okay with this development, but I just hate having to reschedule. At least this is not EOM. I think someone else was venting about rescheduling earlier in the day, little did I know that I would be a partner in frustration before the day ended.

Stuff happens, unfortunately
That's rough about not getting the correct eLynx password. I love it when companies just send edocs as .pdf attachments as it's the easiest and simplest system. I got a call around 2 for a closing "between 5 and 6" tonight about 11 miles away. Main docs finally came through at 4, and the "junk docs" and HUD came through a little after 6 PM along with a call that the HUD was not correct and a new one was being prepared. Finally around 7, another call arrived saying that the closing was cancelled for tonight. The scheduler seemed a bit taken aback when I mentioned that there would of course not be a cancellation fee since I hadn't left the house and there would just be a $25 print fee since I had already downloaded and printed all of the docs and was just waiting for the replacement HUD. I'm happy not to go back out tonight as it is cccccccold!

You're right, docs attached as pdf files are the best. I had not had to struggle with password problems in several months. Oh, how quickly I forgot the pain. I think that I will starting confirming with the schedulers that the e-docs will of course be sent to me as attachments BEFORE I accept the assignment. I am now worried about scheduling conflict tomorrow with another overnight mail assignment that has yet to be confirmed by e-mail, so I don't won't even have borrower's phone numbers until docs arrive. Shows to go you what happens when you accept an assignment while at a stop light.
It is very warm here tonight--66 degrees. It was up to 70 today which was a real change from the freeze that ruined all our citrus crops a few weeks ago. Remembering that time, I hope that you enjoy a cozy evening by the fire tonight.

Cara, try to copy....
and paste the password. L's can look like 1's, spaces not detectable, you can repeatedly type in what you think you see and could be wrong.

Re: Cara, try to copy....
Some programs will not recognize copy/paste text as correct login info. I ran into that problem recently (don't remember which), but best is to copy/paste to MS word then try changing the text to different font to separate common in letter/number (1 & L).

Highlight & press CTRL+C to copy
this way, you can bypass the no right-click scripts on some pages.
