Is it Safe?
To wash the car yet? All the cars here are the same color..salty/sandy. Warmed up. Probably should to at least move the salt around a bit

No. Your door locks will freeze as so will the doors.
Been there/done that. Not a good idea.

Re: Is it Safe - yes from MN
Don't listen to the guy from Arkansas. I washed my truck this weekend (best car wash - Fleet Farm!) - it's now green instead of grey!

Do you park your car in the garage? If so, you should be fine. If not, wait for a sunny day and do it early - and don't lock your car doors. I squirt my car off with the $1.75 rinse cycle about once a week. Won't spend the $$$ for the longer cycle because it just gets dirty right away. But I am in and out of the car so often I brush up against it constantly and hate that white salty stuff on my coat. If a car door gets frozen shut, go to the other side of the car - often times just one side freezes - depending on the wind and - hopefully - a little sun.

Do not ask me how I acquired the experience to be able to tell you this - but don't try using your hair blow-dryer in freezing outside air, to remedy frozen locks, unless you really wanted to buy a new blow-dryer anyway!

Don't scrape your windshield with a beer can either. If you do softscrub gets it off.

Just washed my car today!
It's red, instead of white!!! LOL, even gave it the Premier wash, as I am not good with upkeep! It's a beautiful van, for today at least.
