Just got off the phone w/ IRS and

I had been told that a copy of my DL was mandated by the IRS so I called to get the code and/or section number. The very nice IRS agent researched extensively and said this is not something the IRS asks for OR wants. why these companies want it I have no idea.

personally, I think that w/ having your SSN and DL = credit check............

Which is one reason I do not provide either. EIN and commission is all they need.
