I know this is crazy to ask, but I am thinking of making myself a mobile notary and wanted to know what I should do to find out what the going rates are for being mobile. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks

Your rates are pretty simple for mobile notary work. You can only charge what the state allows ($10 per notarial act) plus a reasonable fee for travel and possibly other services.

Familiarize your self with the Florida Governor's Reference Manual for Notaries, 2001. Fees are discussed on page 9 and page 50 (with one change: solemnizing a marriage is now $30).
