OK, hopefully last question about adobe

Since I am continuing to have probs w/ pdf docs i decided to dump v8 and start over... I went to settings and deleted there... says now no adobe... I have not rebooted yet ... BUT
I went to search on my computer and OMG it shows so many versions of it (4, 5, 6, and 8) now how can this be since nothing shows on the control panel or the prog? It says it is in the apps files.... I deleted from there....so now?

tia!

If you've uninstalled each version previous to 8, then you should be able to install 8 all over again and it work fine. If you want to go deep into the registry, Microsoft has a registry cleaner util that will seek out dead end entries and wipe them out. Good luck.
