OT Most experience on the board?
I am fairly new and read the postings to gain knowledge and business skills. What is the most experience as a signing agent that anyone has that posts? Just curious. I have hit a slow period and trying not to panic. I do think there is work and it is slowing down but even if the market isn't what it used to be, there is still work.
Thank you!

Are you asking who has the most signings
under their belt or who would be good to read for experience?

My guess is that Lee/AR has the most years in as a signing agent. Just a guess.

12 years. But all spent in rural areas so I am sure that there are many who have worked for less time but who have done more signings than I. IMHO, this is the kind of job where you will know 95% of what is needed in maybe 1-3 years. And spend the rest of your life learning the remaining 5%.

I have 17 years doing signings. Most of it as an EO and RE paralegal. I've done NSA work for 9 years, but only fulltime for 1 year. I've done at least 11,000 signings, probably a lot more in all that time.

I'm trying to make the connection between your first question (who has the most experience) and your comment about things being slow.
Probably the person who can help you the most is someone in your own state. There is a signing agent from Nevada who posts here who can probably give you some insight into what the situation is like there, and perhaps even give you a prognosis. He may not have the most years of experience of all the people who regularly post here, but if I lived in Nevada, that's whose opinion I would value the most.
This business is not just cyclical -- it's regional too. So take that into consideration.
All the rest of this is just comparing **** sizes.
Good luck.

I think it's probably slow in NV now because about this time last year every LO I talked to was targeting NV and AZ.

Been in the closing biz since 1983 and mobile closings since 2001.
You missed the 02 and 03 wave. You would really be sad to see what it used to be!!!!! Just market and execute perfect closing packages and develope relationships with your schedulers.
