President's Day and the Right to Cancel
Just wanted to share a couple of messages that I posted on my blog recently:

President's Day is on Monday, February 19th. It does not count as one of the days in the 3 day right to cancel. For example, if you are doing a closing on Saturday, February 17th, the rescission period would not begin until Tuesday, February 20th (skip Sunday and Monday). Below are a few of the affected dates and the corresponding rescission dates:
Thu. 2/15 ..... Tue. 2/20
Fri. 2/16 ..... Wed. 2/21
Sat. 2/17 ..... Thu. 2/22
Sun. 2/18 ..... Thu. 2/22
Mon. 2/19 ..... Thu. 2/22 (back to normal 3 day period)

Also, for Colorado notary signing agents, I posted yesterday about free training classes available. These are recurring class offerings, so if you miss them this month, you'll be able to take them next month. I've already taken them, so unfortunately I won't get to meet any of you there.
Hopefully you'll take advantage of these training options. The instructor is excellent, and possesses a wealth of knowledge.
