Real All-purpose Mentoring Website
http://vocationvacations.com/
I don't have a glowing review for this one, or a negative one...however, it was on one of the news channels this morning.
I can just see it now...
"Come vacation with me and I'll take you on signing appointments. Three squares a day, a ride in a unique car at EOM with Google maps covered with muddy footprints, vintage SlimFast cans and wrappers, geek gear, abandoned Fedex envelopes; and extra excitement added by stray, rebellious ink pens gone wild. They have the potential for exploding in your hand or in the car seat on your best slacks. For a reasonable fee you can have a a pallet in the multi-purpose room--bring your own air mattress for added comfort. Guest toothbrushes included."

Speaking of Filthy cars...
I just got mine detailed yesterday...steamed cleaned interiors--every square inch, hand waxing, and my brake and gas pedals shine like it was on the showroom floor yesterday. What a treat. I swear it runs better and I feel thinner just riding in it.
My kids got a gift certificate for me for Christmas. Mother's Day is coming! Given the fact of how much time mobile notaries spend in their cars-- if yours needs it like mine did, opt for this over a day at the spa.

Re: Speaking of Filthy cars...
No doubt about it Brenda ! I know I always feel "taller" when the car is just washed. Those crystal clear windows, that "new car" smell and no junk on the floors. Ahhhh That's what I call living.
Have a great week !

My poor vehicle needs a maid service. Empty bottle, papers, hockey equipment, directions, etc. You all know the deal. When it is clean, I feel like I'm driving a $150,000 car!!!

Re: Speaking of Filthy cars...I love you guys...
You are my soulmates.

I went to signing awhile back where the LO, the bwr and I were going to have lunch together post signing at a hot spot famous around Texas for its pies. (http://www.royersroundtopcafe.com/ and it is a must visit if you are in Central, Texas!)
The LO tells the bwr, "We need to go in your car." Panic stricken look from Ms. Bwr who tells me, "Can't go in my car...can we take yours?" I look at the LO and shake my head..."we all take our own filthy vehicle."
So...here we go...three women riding a half-mile in three cars to a place with limited parking because we cannot be bothered to shovel the crap out of our cars.
It was at that moment I decided I had lived like that one too many days; I started policing the nasty out of my vehicle the next morning. It took me that long to develop the habit of removing cans, bottles, trash out of it daily to feel right about taking it in for detailing. It was just a bad habit I got into while being a notary signer.
There are a few other reasons things got so out of control, dogs...dirt roads...a "why bother?" attitude...but I am putting the boundaries back on that little area of my life.
Spring has sprung here in the lovely "Heart of Texas." Bad habits are being obliterated right along with the dust bunnies on my fan. My little .38 revolver is heck on dust bunnies...I just wish it weren't so hard on the ceiling too. Looks like I'll have to do a little spackling and painting before it's all over with.

I must be a minority...
I buy annual carwash tickets that last a year - get rid of the water bottles when I get the car washed weekly! My car is black - and it only looks really good when it's clean. Hubby also sells cars, so he takes it to work about every 4 months and gets it detailed and sealed in and out!! Spoiled I am

Nothing has helped keep my car clean as much as my GPS! (I also love "Jack" telling me to turn left in 400 feet onto Trail Lake Drive, all the while counting down the time until I arrive at my destination... .) As for Starbucks cups, I have no solution as of yet. Probably the best way to limit Starbucks trash would be to limit my habit, a vice I'm not ready to give up yet! Still the GPS has helped so much because I don't have many papers piling up these days. And I can locate 57 Starbucks close to me in a matter of seconds, no matter my location!
