Recission Question?
Last night I did a notarization and had the broker there with me. The signing date was Feb. 9th and the recission date said Feb 10th. The broker insisted that I don't change the document, stating that it didn't matter. Is this correct, will it cause the docs to be rejected. Thanks for your help!

There now, Blueink, you sure told him! Did it feel good spewing? After all, he ignored one of the unpublished "rules": thou shalt only asketh once, or thou shalt be ridiculed until thou are writhing on the ground in agony for your foolishness.
I joined Notary Rotary a couple of months ago and have occasionally found information that was helpful to me, particularly sharing info on signing or title companies that are slow to pay - or do not pay.
98% of the people who post are professional, pleasant, and patient. But the other 2% provide snipy, nasty, abrupt responses such as this one by Blueink, which is why I'm writing on this thread. I don't mean to single you out, but I've seen this sort of behavior on this bulletin board too often. Honey bunch, it ain't warranted.
Who the hell are you to respond with sarcasm or anger? BFD - this person had a brain f@rt and repeated a question. It's quite possible that s/he DID NOT understand. Does that require a cutting, nasty remark?
I'm a native NYer and as sarcastic as a person can be. I also do not lightly suffer fools. But if I can have the patience not to verbally blow someone's boat out of the water, surely anyone guilty of these negative responses can rein in their mouth as well.
'Nuff said.
