Signatures Plus Owner contact info

I will admit I did 2 signings for them in Sept. and got paid no problem. Did one in Oct. and one in Nov., no payment yet. They are waiting on owner to let them release checks. They wrote me who owner is and phone number. Melodie Gordon 1-888-245-2112. They gave me her voicemail. E-mail is [e-mail address]. She is out of town until Tuesday on holiday with our money. Maybe this will help me and anyone else. Hope so! I promise I will not do any more with them.

Oh Well!

And you are writing this because . . .??? You were warned. You didn't listen. Oh well. It is this mentality that keeps the bottom feeders in business. Wish you the best, but maybe next time you will listen. This board has a wealth of info. you just got to be smart enough to use it.

Mighty big assumptions there.

I don't recall that when I got my commission from Salem, that they said to go to Notary Rotary and look for the bad apples. How do you know she was warned? Did you warn her? How do you know she didn't listen? Did you tell her? She believes that she is offering information to the rest, to go along with the warnings you speak of. I bet she's smart enough to know that no good deed goes unpunished or ridiculed, especially on this forum.

I agree. Don't you just love these people that kick someone when they are already down.

Thanks

Signing was done in July. check dated Nov. Rec'd in December after many many threats. Took it to their bank and NSF.

Then I wrote her personally and told her I was going to Attorney General in Ca and she wrote back immediatley and said money was there. I went to her bank again (so as not to get fees at mine) and low and behold it was cashed. Finally.

Threatening with Attorney General may help.

I had a handful of signings for them a year ago. It took me nearly five months to get paid. I spoke with one woman who claimed to be the marketing manager, and she said she'd have the owner sign the checks. I heard several renditions of "the check is in the mail" and when the checks arrived, they shorted me $10 on one. I'd never work for them again and told them at that time to take me off their @%$^) list of notaries.

You were fortunate in getting a response from the AG. I've been trying to get $125 from Nationwide Doc Preps since last summer. I've contacted the AG and SOS in ME, AG in CA as well as some consumer department, made complaints to the BBB in Santa Barbara (was emailed the DA's phone #) and the Las Vegas BBB. No one gives a rat's derriere that notaries are taking a hosing. To the AG, big deal - what's $125.00.

Many of the SS know we can't do much. Collections? Unless you can get a contingency sort of eal, many of us can't afford to pay up front. SS's can just change the name of their company. They'll always find some notary to do the signing.
