You have NOTHING in your profile; no experience/qualifications, etc! Companies looking for notaries here on NotRot would have no reason to consider you. Could be contributing to your slowness.

I think it's been slow but I've already got a bunch on the books for next week, which is EOM, so I'm hoping it will be a busy week to make up for the rest of the month. At least the phone is ringing.

Up until this week I was really busy,

now really slow. This is what it was like when I first started in 2000. Got a break in mid month, then it got so there was no break.

i think it is an area thing because....

this week i have been swamped....all e-doc closings and good fees.......i had one last night and the borrowers told me that they got a phone call from the lo and ended up refinancing and pulling cash out.......they knewnothing about the co, but were happy with the deal they got........i think the mtge brokers work an area and then move on to another area......jmho

Very slow week for us, but this time of year is slow for us. Housing prices in NJ dropped almost 5% since last year and still going down.
