TurboTax vs TaxCut
Has anyone used both of these tax softwares and have an opinion on which one seemed easier or better. TaxCut is much cheaper and I'm thinking of giving it a try, I have only used Turbotax before.
Thanks, Larry

I have used TaxCut for about 4 years and will keep using it, it's so easy to use and I have not had any problems with it. I also am an indepent tax accountant, before I purchased TaxCut for the first time I did all my clients returns by hand, but after using TaxCut I would'nt use anything else.

There was a story on the news here last night about these products. What they found was that BOTH missed key items, especially for business filings. They're fine for simple filings, but may not be 100% for business or more complicated filings.
What I've done in the past is to do my taxes in TurboTax, then bring to my accountant for "review". I have used both, however I prefer TurboTax.
