VA. notaries Or anybody else

I am doing a residential VA signing. The borrower will sign in MD on Sat. at 11:00 AM. It is a non-borrowing spouse. The Deed is in husband and wife's name. There is no signature line on any of the Docs for the wife. Not even on RTC or DEED. Is VA different from any other state. Should I Make a signature line for the wife. Please comment.

You need to direct this question to ...

... the title company. At least to the signing service that hired you, if this is the case. We don't know the background and circumstances of the loan and property, so we cannot tell you what to do. (Besides, that would be UPL.) There may be a reason the NOBS is not on the documents. Only the lender and/or title company can provide that answer.

In Virginia, *normally* any one who is on title to the property signs the Deed of Trust, RTC, TIL, Itemization of Amount Financed, sometimes the HUD and the title docs. PAW is right - check with the TC to be sure what they want signed.
