Yee Haw!
Just spent 2 hours diving what normally takes about 40 minutes. I was plowing snow with my front bumper. I drive a VW Jetta and I passed a lot of cars just sitting there in the road. Now If only the wiper blades could stay free of Ice!

Woke up to the plow stuck in our cul de sac. They are going to have to get the front loader to get us out. I think we only have about 8" so far but the drifting is horrible.

Brings back memories
of an old VW commercial. It opens with a terrible blizzard and the snow plow driver has to get to the garage to get the snow plow to plow the roads and the only thing that will get him there is his VW bug. Glad you made it home in one piece.

Glad you made it through!
My first car was a VW Bug..."Poor man's plow" is what we called it. While others were digging out, I'd jump right in and plow right through! Boy I do miss that '72 Superbeetle. Thanks for digging up old memories.

Re: Brings back memories
I have always driven VW's. My parents bought the "microbus" in 1959. My last beetle had the tailpipe held up with rolled aluminum foil (an improvision done while camping, wire burned away to fast). We submitted that to reynolds wrap because they had an ad campaign on the different uses for their product but they said the VW brand was to strong and that use wasn't recommended. I sold it like that!
