**I can't believe Signatures Plus ***

Actually thought I'd forgotten.. Below is my response. I hope everyone remembers who screws them.

I cannot close this loan for you for the following reason.

I have completed three closings for Signatures Plus in the past. Two of which I had to continually beg for my pay.. the third closing I fought with your company over and over again, and finally gave up.

I was told the third loan had so many mistakes that it had to be redone. I spoke to the title company where I learned that that was a complete lie. The title company also told me that they REGULARLY receive complaints regarding your services: Many signing agents being bilked out of money.. It's one thing to not pay a notary for the closing.. However, these hard working folks pay for gas, paper, faxes, and on and on and on.. you're stealing from them.

I was tempted to close the loan, hold the paperwork until I received payment for this and the previous closing until I had cash-money in hand. I have decided to not stoop to that level. You may find another agent to screw out of money.. Please lose my number as I asked you to the previous time we had contact.

Screw me once, shame on you

Screw me twice, shame on me. Hopelfully third time was a charm and your move on. PS You never give up on a fee, that is what these bottom feeders are counting on. You should pursue it until they either bankrupt out, or you get a judgement. But NEVER stop collecting. JMHO

Last year I did signings for them. I had to write a collection letter and file a complaint with BBB. The first check I received "bounced". I contacted BBB - and they sent a follow up stating the check had bounced and I would only accept certified funds. In the meantime, they were calling for signings, and I refused stating they had past due invoices. I received certified funds, but refused any further business from them. Since, they no longer call. Fine with me!

My New Years resolution is to turn down work from

companies where you have to haunt them for my money. It's not worth the aggravation.

HEAR! HEAR!
Good on you John!
Just say no!
If SOX, or Signature Plus calls me (they don't anymore..thank God!) I say I don't do edocs for you people. Please send me the docs overnight, and INCLUDE my quoted fee. (or deposit it in my Pay Pal account) This is a business of trust. I have been in it longer that you, have a MUCH better reputation, if you want my services, you will need to pay me in advance, and trust ME to do the job. I have never been able to say all of this. They usually hang up when I say send me the docs, and include my fee. Even their schedulers know that they have no intention of paying for services rendered.

An exception/ caveat

Regarding my last post. All true except..... on March 26 2005 I did a heloc for them. My first and only job for them. Still haven't been paid. Don't expect to. (Yes, the loan went through, I called the borrower) Yup! I too fell for it ...once. So I guess we're all in the same boat? Lets all row together, and get rid of these parasites...by not working for them.
