Re: slow-Johna

I see you posted the same query yesterday, and don't know how much
experience you have.
From someone doing this a few years, there are times that are lean,
when the lenders are not targeting your area, or have just begun to
and nothing is ready to close.
I find it is the perfect opportunity to do things: take it easy for a minute and
catch my breath, catch up with what I have been missing during busier times
and beef up my marketing. Go out, meet people and set yourself up for the
next round.

Re: slow-Johna PS....

I would suggest you work on your profile as a means of beefing up your marketing.
Hiring entities look for your experience and skills in the profile section of NR, this is
a place of opportunity for you to shine!
If a prospective client sees your profile is empty, they may go on to the next agent.

Johna - Your profile

I came into this thread late and looked at your profile when it was brought up. Personally, if I was a broker (and maybe I'm assuming a Mortgage Broker) there is absolutely NO WAY I would send another broker in to close my loan for fear of getting the loan stolen. Some see listing the fact that they are a loan officer or a broker as a way to say they are experienced, but I think the hiring parties sees it as competition.

Just a thought.

I'm glad someone else notice this was a repeat topic. I thought I was having a senior moment for a mintute there!

Re: slow-Johna

Sorry about the lousy spelling there....I meant "noticed" and "minute". I guess I really AM having a senior moment

Re: slow-Johna

I work for a signing service and we use Notary Rotary. I never use anyone with an empty profile. It shows they are really looking for work.

It's not slow here!

I've had to turn work away. I've even gotten 3 new clients in the last week.

As for your profile, your are in direct competition with every lender that you'd work for. They are looking for NSA's on this site, not MB's.
