What I have done...

with a company is for a good 2 weeks I continually faxed over my invoice and agreement (total 4 pages) as many times as I thought of. More over the weekends. With my last fax to them I added an extra page that said I was now sending a fax to the title co and letting them know that I was never paid for the signing. I got a call the very next Monday from signing service who said check was in the mail. Recieved payment within 4 days.

Other then this missive, what have you done to collect?

To have 5 unpaid signings from one month seems a little excessive. You're in AZ, they are in AZ. why not call the local authorities and start legal action against them?

Re: Other then this missive, what have you done to collect?

So far I have faxed my past due invoices with all the attached signing confirmations to the office several times. I have also emailed the invoice to AP, Elaine - the one who hired me, and the other people listed on the site. Sent my Fiance to pick up the check, but they are not at the address listed ....
I am open to suggestions. I was trying to be patient as Elaine had replied they were working on it, but it is well into the New Year and I need to take action.
This is actually the first time I have not be paid in the 4 years I have ben doing this, so I am unsure of what other action one can take.
I would appreciate insight on the best way to proceed.

Re: Other then this missive, what have you done to collect?

So it looks like they are close. Send a certified reciept requested letter with a drop dead date stating that after this date you plan on filing with the local cops a theft of service complaint. Then when that date comes traipse down and file and follow through. If Az does not allow this, then small claims court them.

Thanks for the Advice.

I did call again and left a message. I guess I just still have faith in people to do the right thing.

Re: What company?

So a search on Signatures Plus. You'll find out you probably won't get paid for six months, if at all.

Hey Teamies,

Lot's of dialouge about filing Claims against bad SS. I have a perfect and very inexpensive solution for dealing with deadbeat companies that don't pay. I had to file suit against two companies so far (Names not to be mentioned). In fact I will file suit everyday if necessary, and to do this I only pay an annual fee (in monthly payments of around $26.00)of under $300.00 per year. For that I get a law firm at my disposal who will represent me if necessary in any state in the U.S. and even in Hawaii, and Alaska. That's right for about $1.19 per day, I have my very own law firm to represent me for any legal matter that may come up. Even if it is personal or business related. Most of the time a simple letter from my lawyer does the trick, sometimes they make a phone call to get the point across. Along with my membership I get ID theft protection and REAL ID theft recovery if ever someone decides to take over my identity

This membership is the perfect combination to go along with our Notary business'. But what is best about it is that you can make GREAT money offering the memberships right along with your already existing Notary Business. The potential for another cash vein is INCREDIBLE. Just imagine when the deadbeat opens a letter from your lawyers office informing them that they are going to be sued for BIG $$$$$. You and I both know that they will not risk having to pay those big lawyer fees plus damages just because they don't want to pay a hundred bucks or so!

I suggest that everyone sign up for this service and get the incredible protection and law firms in your pocket. I'm serious you can call the law firm that you are assigned to everyday if necessary. Folks these are real law firms that have lawyers that specialize in may areas of law. Ok enough from me just go to this website and it will tell you everything you need. www.prepaidlegal.com/hub/randalllucas. Or you can drop me a line at [e-mail address]
