Is this the same David Cox with Title Stream? If so maybe you can go to "orange" search" button and check there for another ph# or fax#?

That is exactly what I was thinking! David Cox also works for Title Stream in TX, another company with a poor payment history on this board.

It is quite a coincidence to see the same name, however, I would really be shocked and disappointed if this were David Cox from Title Stream. Both are in the same area. Title Stream will pay, albeit slow. Never heard of Top Tier.

Thanks for all the input. I did speak with him later this afternoon (after I e-mailed him that I was contacting the lender and the lender's attorneys, among others) and got the perfect "b.s." story about a 30-45 day pay policy and how I'm jumping to conclusions; there was never any indication of my not getting paid. Closing was 12/21/06 - 1) no answer to e-mail questioning when I could expect payment; 2) no return phone call....
and he says that he's disappointed in the way that I've attempted to get paid!! Don't know if it's the same person, BUT I would NEVER take a job from him....Top Tier or Title Stream!

I feel your post warranted some corrections:

* I replied to your email within 24 hours (during the end-of-month crunch time we all know and love).
* I returned your phone call within one hour.
* I quoted you a time-frame on payment the first time you asked, and you were paid within that time-frame.
* Most importantly, and most glaringly false; my phone number was never disconnected - A phone is not "disconnected" simply because you leave a voicemail and do not receive a return call immediately.

Considering the above, I fail to see what you are warning people to "beware" of.

In order for this forum to be a helpful tool, the information posted must be truthful and factual. Otherwise, posts like this are simple incitements that provide misinformation and do the members a disservice.

If so, how long after the appointment?
