Been out for while Background Check

I have been out for awhile and have started again. I am so confused on the background checks. So far no one has asked and IF it is a requirement I will go thru NR if offered.
HELP! (I have read alot but not all, my head is spinning)

Hold off for a while. IF asked, ask if they will accept an alternative. And search & read this board a whole lot. Jury is still out on this.

Arkansans...

What is the deal with the retirement communities popping up near
Bentonville and Hot Springs?
Here in SW FL, all day long, I see Eric Estrada doing commercials for
these communities.
I am curious as to who their TC is...LOL Always thinking about business! (any clues?)
Floridians are now retiring to Arkansas?
Who'd of thunk it?

Misterella, Hot Springs has a lot to offer and is a very nice area. You may see alot of commercials for the Village, cannot remember how it all went down but the Villlages have been there for many years (had a friend live there, very nice) yet I believe many lots were recently purchased from Tax Sales, not sure about the TC I did have a few friends working on the abstracts last year. Personally, I would rather retire in Florida, weather is better.

Guess it all depends upon perspective. Born, raised in Chicago; moved to WI where there are 4 seasons: pre-winter, winter, post-winter & road repair. Arkansas weather looks good to me! It snows sometimes, but it melts fast, too. No shoveling needed. Bentonville is the home of WalMart and not too far from Branson. Yep, Hot Springs is in the midst of renewal.
However... for the most part--Arkansas roads (at least in my area) are terrible. All 2 lanes, curves & hills abound...and lots & lots of gravel roads. Slow going.
