Yepper.. 'tis the first of the year when the credit card bills from Christmas cheer have yet to reach the borrowers mailboxes.. but don't fret.. they'll get 'em soon and we'll be knockin' on doors with docs in hand. Now's the time to market!

I did all my shopping at Big Lots, so I got away fairly unscathed by the credit card monster. My only problem is convincing my wife that that huge ring really is a diamond.

Whoops...new laptop
and Brenda is right...you do sound like a nice person. It just gets a little old when other independent, self-employed types don't do their homework and want everything on a silver platter. I do try to help, that is a fact, even tho my biz is part time.
Welcome to the forum.

Re: a thought about marketing....
I talked to a gal from Leander, Texas this evening. She's thinking about the biz.
I explained to her what the score was...IMHO...but just to be sure that she did not fall for my cock and bull story, to read my free book on the notary biz (see my profile near the bottom) and to visit her local Small Business Development Center for help with a business plan. Also, go to your local county clerk's office to see just how many loans there are ... how many notaries there are...do a business plan!!!

B....I was just reviewing a business plan I did
about 5 years ago, and the work I did....wowsers. It was thorough. It was solid. It projected numbers and clients. And, it failed.
Still, remember that most people who are self-employed get successfull the second or third try. I'm on the up-swing!!
