Brother 8440 Paper Jam problems
I have a Brother 8440, I had a paper jam and was able to clear it very easily. Yet the machine still thinks there is a paper jam. Anyone had this problem? There weren't any little pieces of paper left in it and I also tried unplugging it and see if that would help, any suggestion would be appreciated. Thanks.

Did that, printed them on my 8870DW. Not my month! Laptop, got a worm. Haven't even got everything back in it yet. Monday I ran over something on the freeway, need a new oil pan. That's another $325.00.

Open front and back access doors, remove and reinsert toner, close both doors. This usually works for me.

Problem FIXED
Unplug from AC and unplug USB cord from the computer. Let set for awhile. If this doesn't work, take it for a ride and threaten it! Worked for me! When I got to the location, took it in to have it looked at, worked fine. I had told It if it didn't work when I got there, I was going to leave it there. I had already bought a new one to replace it (just like it). It will now sit in the box unopened until this one acts up again. I've had it 4 years, this is the only time I have had a problem.
