Faxback
I recently had a signing where the instruction said I have to fax back certain docs such as DOT, RTC, HELOC agreement and disclosure etc. I have quoted my fee and they ahve agreed. Now after completing the signing, I have sent the signature page of these docs and they say they want the WHOLE docs faxed - The whole 12 pages of DOT, the whole 11 pages of agreement and disclosure etc!!! I have no idea why they want the unsigned pages faxed back!(none of these additional pages even have bo's initials). So instead of the 5 pages I was expecting to fax back now its 32 pages! Have any of you had such a requirement? SS says its not them, but countrywide wants all these faxed. I am sending a photocopy of DOT, HUD etc to countrywide in the package anyway!!! (The originals of these are to be sent directly to escrow). I have done other loan packages for countrywide before and have never seen this. If this is very common for CW docs I'm done with their docs!

Sounds like a CW Full Spectrum...
Yes, this is ordinary for a CW Full Spectrum. I usually ask and quote a price that takes account of this extra work.

Has CW Fullspectrum written all over it ... I take alot of their work but I also quote a price that accounts for the faxback amount.

Get a scanner, get a scanner, get a scanner
Get a scanner or printer with a document feeder, drop and scan. Do other things like address the Fedex and log in your acounting sytem. Then when the scan is done, email the scan to them w/ no increase in cost to you for telephone calls and no missed fed faxes or disconnected lines.
One of these days the lender/title companies will likely demand scans over faxes any.
