Frustrating!
ServiceLink calls at 5:30pm last night on my way home from my last signing - can I do an 8pm? I ask "do you have the docs?" (this is my 4th signing and I'm tired and hungry) "yes" she exclaims. Well, don't we know the outcome of that? They sent a confirm email - the phone # for the borrower is wrong....I call and call, finally get someone who says they are waiting for the docs from the lender (Countrywide, always last minute) AND she will find a correct number and call me back. I wait and wait.....no call - by now the person has left for the day and I talk to scheduler who says "sorry". Reopen my mailbox at 7:30 - lo and behold the docs are there. I call the scheduler back and tell her I have the docs. She says"it's so late, why don't you wait and do it tomorrow?" I wonder under what rock they found her!!!!! I go and get docs signed - it's very late so I wait until today to fax back 30 pages and then had to wait for call to ok shipping - plus the loan had to be split out. All this for $125 - not worth it.
I get call from FASS to do signing today at 11am...I tell her I need those docs either last night or early morning because i have another signing opposite end of town...she says she'll send Title Company # and I can call and tell them to send docs. Well, I get back from the signing last night and confirm letter is there but no # for TC.......this morning I start calling at 6am Pacific time and get nothing but answering machines. Finally at 10am I reach the scheduler and she gives me TC # - I no sooner hang up with her and FASS operator calls to say loan is cancelled. I have wasted 4 hours sitting here waiting.....nature of the beast I guess.
BUT these companies think we have NOTHING better to do than wait for them.

Must be something with CW since I was strung along and so was BO for 3 1/2 hours waiting on CW to get docs. Problem was BO was vice pres. of bank and knew something was up. Changed appt. from 3 to 5 and then to 5.30 before we got the docs.

I can think of nothing more frustrating with this job than when I realize I've just spent a 10 or 12 hour day with nothing or little to show for it because of delays, cancellations, lack of communication, or someone else's incompetence. I think we can all relate to your frustration.

CW must be working overtime to cause so much discontent
I'm in that group though...ugh! Wait for docs, finally get them, print and out the door. Whoopie...gonna be on time! Get a call telling me they've sent docs, "I know, on my way"! Well...ummmm...you got both attachments? "Excuse me"? Well...ummmm...it's a piggyback. Crap! Turn around, call SS and get confirmation on 2nd, rush home, print...whoopie...on my way again but this time I'm going to be 30 minutes late. Get to bo's, beautiful home, beautiful people who are unusually happy to see me. Appears that CW called and told them I wouldn't be there! (uncontrolled laughter at this point). Vow to myself...AVOID CW at EOM or make a trip to the liquor store for medical purposes.

Re: All dressed up and nowhere to go..
It's not just CW. It seems something's in the air!
I have 5 signings (I think) on my plate.
1) Open time, open day, docs to borrower - phone # disconnected...waiting....
2) Received docs for signing, no confirmation - scrolling through received calls....who was it?
3) Received docs for signing scheduled YESTERDAY - Date sensitive?...Dunno, we'll call ya.
4) On Tuesday I received confirmation for a signing scheduled for today - Just a first, no..a first and second, should be overnighted, NOT, if I don't receive edocs 2 hrs prior to appt, call..
5) Me an Bo think we have an appt for Monday. TC thought it happened last Monday...docs?
All different lenders, SS's and TC's involved. Is Peoples Court on yet?

Blame DA BEARS
The minute they won their Superbowl spot every Half-@$$ loan officer in the country ran out and tried to duct tape together two more loans t buy a Plasma for the big game.
I've got my own set... not CW but the same story... it's on it's off it's changed...
GRRRRRR
P.S. You'd wonder why the Superbowl factor hit CA... till you consider that we've nothing to root for local. (I'm scratching my head wondering why SF is working to keep that sorry shadow of a former team in their city.)
Go Dodgers!

Re: Top this
I had 4 morning signings cancel....one was set last week, bo cancelled yesterday, a different appt made for this morning, cancelled....then another for this morining, cancelled - the last one for this morning cancelled (after I wasted 4 hours trying to get docs) OK. I had a 1pm appt, docs at borrowers......10 to 1pm the bo calls says he doesn't mean to be rude but am I almost there because his wife is going into LABOR and wants to get docs signed. OY. I floor it fearing I'd be delivering a baby. Rip the package open and thrust the first doc, a QCD in front of husband and tell him to sign exactly as printed. So he does - then as he is getting out his DL he says, "that's not my correct name". Middle initial wrong AND he is a II not a III as printed. Then SHE says (thru gritting teeth because let's not forget she's in LABOR) that her middle initial is wrong on docs....printed B should be D. I call the SS and of course get nothing but messages telling me to leave one. I keep calling and FINALLY reach a real person. He pulls up docs and sees what I am telling him - so he's hemming and hawing and finally says they'll have to do up new set......he then says my trip fee will be $30 - well since I didn't print anything and I was very anxious to get out of there I said fine.
My next signing tonite is with a couple who got left swinging in the breeze because a scheduled signing for last nite didn't take place - the notary couldn't print out the docs. Everyone seems to be a little hostile - tho the lender (who called me twice) seemed a little happier when I got the docs (147pages) printed out, the SS was happier when I finished the printing and didn't even complain when I upped my price by $25 because of the size of the loan docs.
What a day, what a life.......they should call us F-Signers......the F stanidng for Frustrated!
