First I would suggest you do something about your profile. Absolutely no details there that would encourage a company to call you for signings.
Then read every message on this board- a lot of priceless information here.
We are not here to help someone get into the business but rather to help and support each other already in the business. You have a lot of competition in California, like Florida it is saturated with signing agents.

Click on the orange search button and enter the number 33325 and read away! The best of the best are here and you'll find alot of very valuable information from them. They're the best!

The way you worded this question

makes it clear you know virtually nothing about this profession. Come back when you can prove that you know what you're doing and you're likely to get more help.

It's not just that

It's the ultimate laziness that a question like this displays. "I'm new, tell me everything." It makes me shake my head every time I see this (which appears to be about once a day again). How do so many self-employed wannabes expect this kind of approach to get them anywhere?

Where's the door of the NSA? Somebody tell me, please?

I've been looking for it for so long.

The really sad part is

this is the second post today on this same subject. Less than 45 minutes before this original posting there was an "I'm new, please help me" post, 4 posting below this. Talk about not reading anything on this board before posting!!! If she'd have read that question and the answer, 1/2 of her questions would have been answered. Don't know if it's stupidity, laziness or a sense of entitlement.

Correction s/b less than 2 hours before

not 45 minutes.

Re: The really sad part is

There are 660 signing agents listed on NotRot that cover her zip code, her profile is empty of any comments, so how many calls do you think she will get?

None, Ms. Sylvia. and she's stuggling to boot.

this is a tough deal...this independent signing agent business.

The poor souls who reach out and ask? Can get two answers.

If they have done some homework and seem to have a bit of a grasp? They get some good advise.

those that post a question that shows their absolute lack of investigation? They get shot down Quicker than Quail in November.

Did I say that? "Quicker than Quail in November". I'm gonna remember that one. (jeez, I hope it's true....are quail hunted in November??

OMG. I didnt' research that before posting. Be kind, you Hunters.
