Got another email from the NNA

And so I responded with my feelings on the "Big Brother" attitude of the NNA.
First, they decided to publish an article stating $40.00 is good enough for o/n docs.
Then they advertise "make $150.00 per closing!".
Then they go scare the ss's into thinking that we can only use the NNA for our background checks.
I highly doubt if I get a response from them.

I got one too and responded by asking them why the bgc that our particular state does for potential and renewing notaries wasn't good enough. I also made the statement and added that it was just my honest opinion, that "in order for the NNA to perform the bgc, one must First be a member of the NNA, and that looks like, to me anyway, a form of blackmail. Will be interesting to see if I get a response too.

Question

Should we be adding one more question, to our usual questions that we ask
when a Company calls? Are they GLBA compliant, and if they would please
send a copy of their background check via fax or email, to prove that we
are working for a compliant company.

Would this open a can of worms? (I bet it would >smile<
