Happy New Year to everyone!
I haven't been participating much because I have had a stinken cast on my right arm the past 3 weeks and still have 3 more to go. Good thing I'm left handed so I can still write but not too easy typing with one hand and I'm a legal secretary by day. Needless to say my boss wasn't too happy about this.
Did everyone have a good 2006? I sure did.

Good Luck to a quick recovery....
A friend of mine had a cast on her right hand (she's right handed). She got drunk and spilled something all over the cast, it got all nasty and smelly and in her drunken state, she decided to remove the cast herself.
Needless to say, it took two weeks for her to get back to the doc and get a new cast put on. She ended up doing twice as much damage in the course of those two weeks and now has to wear the cast for 8 additional weeks....
Hang in there... I know from personal experience that a cast is not a pleasure to deal.

don't let it get wet! The itches are the devil in disguise. I remember sticking straws and other things down to relieve that itch! Not a pretty sight.

Just stay away from kids with chickenpox. A friend of mine caught chickenpox while having a cast on. That is total torture from the itching.
