Help

Does anyone know what it means when 1 name is on the deed of trust and 2 names are on the note and other docs?

That is a question that has been asked on here many many many times - usually when someone is taking a test.

9 times out of 10

it means nobody told the person that's only on the DOT and they wouln't be there for the signing and will apologize profusely but not pay you anything for the second trip.

Put that in your test and smoke it.

Debora, I see you are in CA. This would mean that the doc's could be wrong. The only other possible thing I can think of is that the non-deeded signer is a personal co-signer that is satisfactory to the lender and is required, in addition to the property, to secure the loan.
