Help, Weird Question! What is a "Marital State"

I am filling out an info form for a signing company and they are asking
1. do you live in a marital state
2. are you familiar with marital law and the documents they pertain to
I'm in Colorado, how do I find out what the heck this means and the answer?

Probably referring to a marital property state. Marital property is: (a) real property held as tenants by the entirety, unless excluded by valid agreement. (b) Any property acquired by 1 or both parties during marriage, and does not include any property (1) acquired before the marriage, (2) acquired by inheritance or gift from a third party, (3) excluded by valid agreement, or (4) directly traceable to any of these sources.

I believe CO is a marital property State. Do some research though.... I'm from MA.

Thank you!

Thank you Korey, that sounds like the most reasonable thing they are asking about.
