Invoicing title companies

Normally, title companies will list my service as "Notary Fee" even though I am doing alot more than notarizing docs (i.e. printing docs, travel, etc).

Should I insist that title list the detailed description of my services on the HUD? (i.e. "Real Estate Loan Document Signing Fee and Notary Fee for Mr. X"Wink

The reason I am asking is that I don't want the Secretary of State to think I'm charging $100-$250 for only notary services . Maybe I'm worrying about nothing but I would like some input.

Thank you!

Just keep good accurate records on your end. Break your fees down in your own recordkeeping.
