Has anyone done any business with Keningston Title Company out of NY, NY? Did a search, and couldn't find anything.

I think you might have meant Kensington Title. You might try that when you search

They were VERY slow to pay. I had to make LOTS of calls only to be told each time "send me an invoice", I finally had to get mean and nasty...But they did pay.

Yes, they were slow to pay and everyone had to re-send invoices. However, they recently came to this forum and told us that they would now be putting the notary name on the HUD and paying upon dispersement.

I was working at an attorney' office and had a dealing with them. They dont understand the laws here in VA about funding, recording and proper signatures. They were WAY out of compliance, and as far as I know, to this day, have not corrected the mistakes that they have made, which is leaving the lender open for alot of liability.
