Michigan - AL...
what kind of system are you running? You stated that Acrobat-8 is a Godsend. I'd like to try it, ouch, even after I got bit with 7. I have W-xp. tia

I'm not Al but
I have Windows XP and it's been great. I've had only one file give me problems. Literally 2 hours to print. I don't know if it was because of ELynx or not. Other than that, it's been great.

Well, I AM Al
and I've got a Dell XPS 400 running Windows XP. I've done about 20 packages on 8, every one of them has printed in under 15 minutes. 7 used to print about 2/3 or my packages slowly. Would take up to two hours for both copies. I'm also saving a lot of ink. I don't have to print as image any longer. 8 has been a big time stress reducer.

Hey Al
What do you mean when you say you don't have to print as image anymore? I'm not a techie by any stretch and just curious.

Re: Hey Al
A lot of these docs are sent as an image file (they're scanned in) instead of as a text file. To speed up the printing a little, you can go into your advanced printer settings and "print as image". But I haven't had to do that with 8. I can print everything as text instead of as an image or picture. It seems to use a lot less ink.

Thanks
I appreciate the info. I know my way around a computer but there is a lot I don't know, that's for sure. Thanks again.
