National Notary Signing Service
A word of caution to fellow notaries. We received a request to print two loans, travel to the borrowers home and notarize loan documents. Borrowers signed one loan and then cancelled the signing. National Notary Signing Service of Port Hueneme, Ca. refuses to pay print or travel fee even though we had their assurance they would pay print and travel fee before we began the assignment We printed over 500 pages of loan docs and spent 3.5 hours of time.

Agree Re: National Notary Signing Service
ZeeCA is correct.
Before leaving to the signing, one should have a purchase order/email/fax from the title/signing company with a point of contact. Additionally, any additional fees i.e. for late docs or late show borrowers should also be reflected in writing.
I hope you're able to collect.

Suz, The same thing happened to me with this Company a while back. Printed out Documents for 2 loans, ( Huge package), then they wanted to redrraw the docs before my trip. Told them I would require an extra printing fee, and they said no way. So I told them no way, find someone else! I billed them $50 for printing docs, and never heard a thing from them. Watch out for them. They are bad news, and I will never work for them again. Oh by the way, I am still gonna try to collect from them, I have never been stiffed, and I don't plan on being now!!!
