Nations Direct Title Agency of FL

(Not to be confused with Nations Direct of CA) I've received several phone calls from this company over the past few days & would like to know if anyone has had any dealings with them. Twice now they've come back to ask for additional information from me about my business & I'd like to know a little more about them before proceeding any further. They're shown in the NotRot Signing Central listing of companies but no rating is available. I also performed a message board search without results. TIA!

Nations "DIRECT" Title Agency of FL

At least that's what shows on their correspondence.

One of My Initial Concerns...

...was due to the fact that in their 2nd request they mentioned the following requirement:

"Membership in National Notary Association...If they are not a member of the National Notary Association they must proceed with obtaining same."

Membership in the NNA won't happen in the rest of my foreseeable lifetime. It appears NDT will back off this if you show proof of another associational membership. I sent verification of my membership with The American Society of Notaries & they said they'd accept it in lieu of the NNA.

Re: One of My Initial Concerns...

The Nations Direct that called me did get my name from the NNA website - may be the same one - unfortunately they called me on four separate occasions and never once met my fee so I have no working experience with them

It is only a vague memory but I thought once the Nation Direct of California booked a transaction with me and then the documents came from Florida. I recall this since I was worried about the time change in CA and then the woman said no problem, I am actually in Florida.

Anyway, I agree with previous posters. Nations Direct is a low ball agency. Waste your time with a lot of calls. Cancel last minute.

Avoid them.

This Isn't The Same Company...

...as the Nations Direct in CA. I took ONE signing from Nations Direct in CA back when I first started in 2001 & not a one since.
