New website suggestions
I setup our new website and would like any suggestions for changes or corrections. Both Riley and I have reviewed it and have made some corrections but you know how it is when you reread your own work...sometimes you overlook simple errors. If you find something that needs rework or have a suggestion please drop me an email at: [e-mail address] or post here. The site is: www.txmns.com. This is my 5th year and I thought I would try expanding my client base by having a website. Thanks.

I can't get there from here.
Get a 'bad url' message. Maybe just me.

I was able to open the page. However, I had to type in "www.txmsn.com" When I copied it from your message, it did not work.

When you copied the URL ...
... did you also copy the period at the end of the sentence? That's usually what happens when people copy and paste, they include either leading or trailing characters (or both).

Ok..let's try this: http://www.txmns.com It looks like I can not setup a link from the message board. I tried with both <http://www.txmns.com> and highlighting but no luck either way. Copy and paste seems like the quickest way.......If you get in let me know what you think...Thanks.

One thing that stood out to me was the lack of anyone's name on your website. You refer to "we" always. On your contact page I would think in approriate to at least list you name, phone number, email and address together.

Do not are for
Print to small Most signing cmpanies do not want to read that detail. They know what they want and are looking quickly to see if you provide it.
Recommend larger type and about 10 bullet points on services provided and contact number. You can put the details paragraphs below the bullet points, but I would highlight the key signing services and how to contact you. If I see, * REVERSE MORTGAGE NOTARIZATIONS and you phone number and that is what I want, I am going to call you.
I am not going to read five or six paragraphs. I do not care. I am busy. Maybe someone needing a VISA notarized will be impressed, but how much do you make off that consistently?

Re: Do not are for
Good points...I only list the services because of Texas law requiring posting of standard fees in advertising. I'll be adding my name as well as Riley's. I was trying to keep very generic since with two full time workers and plans to add a third plus new downtown office I did not want to have a "list" of names...just having the info@ contact.
Thanks for the ideas. Some changes are already in the works. Leonard
