OT - Unbelievable News Story
Within the past hour there's been a news development here in St Louis that'll make the front pages across the nation tomorrow. A young 13 year old boy disappeared from in front of his home earlier this week & there's been a massive search for him. As a result of a tip from another young man who saw a white pickup truck leaving the vicinity of the disappearance, police in Kirkwood, MO went to an apartment & found the young 13 year old boy alive. What's incredible is that in that same apartment they found another young man (age 15) who disappeared FOUR years ago. Both boys were from the Franklin County area (west of St Louis) & they both appear to be in good shape. A great answer to many, many prayers!

Thank you Dennis for sharing this great news. I know that for the parents of these teenage boys they will be able to sleep tonight. I saw the man/boy giving a description of the truck on tv today. Thank goodness he was willing to get involved. So many people aren't these days.

FOX news is reporting this story. It reminds me of a young gal from Utah found alive years after being reported missing. Yes, prayer does make a difference.

Hallelujah!
We have been praying for the most recent victim, didn't know about the first one! I just got home, so now it's time to turn on Fox or CNN.....

Re: Hallelujah!
Hallelujah is right Misty. Last night I saw this story and kind of moped off from it. Then I was struck with a penetrating thought of, "What? You think I don't still answer prayer???" I was pretty ashamed of myself and I prayed about this little boy and his safe return.

Shawn Hornbeck is a relative of mine. He is my great nephew. I was born and raised in MO. My oldest sister was married to Albert Hornbeck. They're both deceased now. Albert has a son named Robert. Shawn is the son of Robert Hornbeck. I was following the story of the 13 yr old kidnapped boy. I was shocked today when they announced they had also found Shawn Hornbeck. I was on the phone today talking to relatives in MO. I remember when he disappeared. His profile was on the news and on milk cartons. We believed he was dead because they never found him. Great news.

DD, your input on this story is very interesting. I know Texas HornbAck's (A, not E) so the name was kind of memorable to me. I remember when this child disappeared. Thanks for sharing, and be of good cheer as all of notarydom is now connected to this child and will be saying prayers for his recovery.

Brenda, I'm just afraid he may be suffering some kind of mental problems from his ordeal. Like someone on the news said, both boys will have to undergo counseling for a long time.

Dixie we will continue
to pray for both the boy's mental and emotional issues. I am sure you are right about that, but thank God he is alive and thank God he is HOME!

Thank you...it is truly a miracle. Thank God they weren't killed. Shawn looks good. We always wondered about Shawn. Wondering where he was and if he was OK.
