What are they paying their NSA's for a HELOC.

Apparently not much as I haven't done any for them in 2 years. Must have priced myself out of their payscale. Out of curiosity---what did they offer you?

No idea on a HELOC but the last order I did for them they told me it was a 'regular' loan and I was to receive $100. When I opened up the package it was a purchase/1031 exchange/construction loan. I had buyer, sellers, 2 realtors and the builder. They told me I didn't need a higher fee because my job was the same. Since my opinion differed, I told them to have someone pick the package up as I wasn't doing it. They came around to my fee finally.

They used to pay $100 for their Helocs, about 7 signatures and normally within 15 miles of home. They must have found someone cheaper, as I haven't heard from them in 6 months.

Called today to do a HELOC tomorrow (Saturday) afternoon, travel about 50 minutes each way, and edocs. When I gave them my lowest fee, you'd think I had committed fraud. The response was, "Oh my gosh, we can't pay anywhere near that high!" Didn't even offer to negotiate.
