Question for Fl.
Last week I notarized a warranty Deed, today I get a call , saying the deed has to be notarized on the deed its self . I attached a loose Ca. now he is saying I need to stamp the first page. Even tho it does not have Ca. wording. He is driving me nuts he says it just don't like it that is why I am being difficult. What is your take ,does Fl. have it were you just stamp the page without the wording? Strange man. Thanks

Re: Record
He said it will not record with a Ca. Ack attached, I do not believe this is true. What do you say about the attached ack.

Re: Record
From what you are saying I don't see a problem. Of course some county's are different than others.

Re: Beverly
Thanks Beverly I think he is just being overly cautious , he will pay me again to go and redo it using his wording, he does say it is Fl. wording so I can use it in Ca. the property is of course Fl.
I have used a loose Ca. ack many times for Fl. property without a problem I would like to know the legal wording for Fl. if you care to share. Off I go.
Thanks

Re: FL Wording
Even though I can show you example after example of deeds and mortgages recorded in FL counties with CA loose acknowledgments, it sometime won't change the narrow view of the recorder.
For a copy of a FL compliant acknowledgment, feel free to download one from my website.
