Response from Land Options

I gave Land Options until last Friday to pay my 3-month-old invoice and yet, still had not received payment. Friday I pulled up their website and wrote a long and strong email to the president, vice president and CC'd it to Sarah Hurley in accounting who keeps blowing smoke up my....chimney....saying she'll pay me 'today'.
I also filed a complaint with BBB on their business practices, and filed a complaint with the KS and PA attorneys general.
I got a response from the VP today and from Sarah Hurley herself. The VP said he would see to it I got paid and to let him know if I had any other trouble. Sarah emailed a check & FedEx tracking number. She also called to tell me she was emailing me the numbers and once again, she said "I thought I'd already paid you".
I do hope she gets fired. She is either completely incompetant or devious and unethical. Either is not a bonus to the employer company.
IF you have outstanding invoices with Land Options, email the VP and the Pres. It's been a long battle to get paid by Land Options and I will never accept another assignment from them.

Land Options

I just did a signing on Friday, Land Options was the TC on the loan, I was hired by a SS in Florida

I haven't worked for this SS before but found that others had posted good things about the SS and get this, they actually offered me my standard fee. I accepted the assignment and completed the signing.

I asked the nice SS lady about Land Options, how long she's been taking assignments from them, their payment history etc. I was told the SS has been working with them since August without problems.

I'm not worried about the SS. We'll see how long it takes for my payment. Once received I will post comments on the SS.

Julie, I am sorry to hear about your experience with Land Options. I have worked for them directly several times in the past year, and have always been paid in a timely fashion.
I'm glad you finally got your $$!
