What's happening here...HELP

Last week I got a confirm from someone I do alot of business with...couldn't open it. Properties showed "none". I forwarded it to my partner and he opened it with Word Perfect. I have Word, not Word Perfect (dunno if that matters) but never had a problem opening her attachments PRIOR to Adobe 8.

This morning I got docs, 10 attachments, all pdf. 6 opened, the other 4 wouldn't. Had to have company rescan and send to me. Again properties showed "none", the resend showed properties.

What the hay am I doing wrong and what can I do to correct this? TIA

Opening the attachments directly in email... Your email/browser may not have the right (file extension) plug ins to open.

Saving attachment to your computer...Make sure you select "all files" under file format when saving.

Agree with Andy, but if that doesn't do it...

you might want to uninstall and re-install Adobe 8.

8 has been flawless for me and an absolute Godsend.

TY Al, Glenn and Andy! I went back and re-read the post (TY Glenn) and found my problem. Geez....I feel like an idiot! I distinctly remember reading those posts BUT had no problems at that time so just went about my business. Lesson learned, I appreciate your time and trouble to help me. TY TY TY TY!!!!
