What to charge a Title company?
Hi Good morning,
How much do you charge a title company to conduct closings for purchases?
Thank you.

This is YOUR business...we can't tell you what YOU charge a Title Company. The things YOU need to keep in mind, your time, is the closing at the title company or elsewhere...are YOU printing docs or are THEY...how much travel time to/from...and MOST IMPORTANTLY...do you expect to get more business from this title company in the future? I charge Title Companies the same as I charge the Signing Services with the exception of the doc fee (they usually print both copies FOR me)...but otherwise my fees are the same. BUT this is MY business, and does not NECESSARILY reflect YOUR business.
Hope that helps YOU make a decision. If you need more help, check the search button and good luck

When a title company calls me directly I quote a price of $200.00 per closing. If they balk at that, I reply that I am flexible and will be willing to accept $150.00
I have had some that are okay and happy to pay the $200.00. And I have always had success with the $150.00 fee.
I also always ask if there is a 2nd lien and if the answer is yes, I tell them that I charge an extra fee of $50.00 - $75.00 for the second lien.

My office is cheap in comparison. The don't use "One-Stop" but contact their own notaries. Plus, all my EO's are older and still remember what they got paid..."back in the day".
When contacted by other branches (of my company) they are far more generous, but I've never been paid more than $175 per closing.
