faxbacks
when you are asked to fax back the mortgage - do you fax the entire mortgage or certain pages ie. first, signature and notary page?

Usually all they want is the first page and the signature pages.

Check the confirmation requesting the faxbacks. Usually it is just the first, signature and notary pages, but sometimes if all pages are initialled, the ss requires all pages.

I like to fax first page (describes borrowers), second page (describes riders attached), third page (gives legal or points to exhibit a), signature page, acknowledgement, legal, and first and signature pages of all riders.
Remember that acknowledging signatures on a Mortgage or DOT without an attached Exhibit A: Legal Description when called for is technically considered notarization of an incomplete document.

Re: faxbacks. Depends on the lender and title company.
Almost every Countrywide/Full Spectrum that I have done in the past two years, especially through Service Link, requires the entire mortgage, usually 16-17 pages in PA. Check with title or SS. Good luck, Harry.
