I had a difficult time getting paid. Steve (i believe his name was) kept saying that the title company had a problem with the signing and that American Doc had not been paid, yet when I contacted the title company, they'd had no problem at all. So when I advised Steve of that and sent cc's of my email correspondence with title, I finally got paid.
I wouldn't recommend taking any chances though. With things slowing down, many SS's are inventing new ways to stall with payments or not pay at all.
