Another good SS closing their doors.

When I read that such and such SS are closing and when they have such a bad reputation with us, I dont really care for them, this slow times are good to weed out the bad SS's and the bad signers too, but when I hear about a good paying SS, I feel sorry and worried too, so the industry is going into a really bad situation.

Sanders Signing Service is closing its operations. I wish him all the luck of this world!

And I think it's going to get worse before it gets better. The payments are coming in a lot slower from formerly quick paying companies indicating to me that there is a cash flow problem out there even among the good ones. Crunch time.

There are some examples of good news, though.

Tony Negrete is known to many participants of this forum. Negrete's Notaries pays well, and on time, and there's never a quarrel about the right thing to do in the case of cancelled signings, aborted closings, or unfunded loans. Tony seems to be doing quite well; growing his business, in fact. It couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

I'd probably say that in any event, though, since he always laughs at my jokes. I guess a touch of sadomasochism is a good thng for a signing service operator.
