Any of you experts wish to expostulate?
The techie just left. Dust got into the 'puter case, ruined the bearings in both the fan and the video card fan, and shut both of them down. The heat fricasseed the video card, which gave up the ghost entirely. The hard drive is shutting down sector by sector. For those of you who feel they don't adequately express themselves under such circumcisionxxxx circumstances, I have coined several new imprecations that have made me feel marginally better; I'll be happy to share.
The upshot is that I am finally considering entering the last half of the 20th Century, and getting a laptop with wireless broadband. The primary reason would be to print docs on the fly. For those of you who are already there, some questions:
1. Does it actually work?
2. Are there huge deadspots where no reception, and thus no printing, is possible?
3. Can you print while actually rolling?
4. What kind of printer do you use? The techie briefly explored the Internet, but said he didn't find anything that appeared to fit my needs.
If anybody's disposed to answer those questions, and it appears feasible for me to explore the investment further, I'd like to be able to ask some questions later about cost, services, computer configuration, who your best clients are, what they pay, how I can get in touch with them, whether it's okay to notarize something in pencil, whether "DAMMIT!" is considered an oath or an affirmation, etc.

allow you to find the Orange search button!
Dammit is an oath, use jurat.
Pencil will photocopy, so it's ok too, and it will save on correction fluid and/or tapes.
I really needed this - most depressing signing tonight that is hard to shake. This helped. Thanks.
