Brother drum reset

Anyone know how to reset the drum count on a brother 5250 without actually replacing the drum?

Larry Use the search button as not too long ago this was discussed. I will look thru my notes for it and post if I find it

here it is:

When drum lights flash, clean the drum using rubbing alcohol and a soft cloth. Let it dry completely. Replace toner cartridge into the drum unit. While front cover is open, hold the "Go" button until all 4 lights are steady, then release the button. That resets the drum counter and makes those nasty "replace drum" lights go away.

I don't know if it work the same, but, I have Hl 5150 DLT and with open door, I push "go" botton until all the lights are on.

Thanks all, worked great

I remembered that you opened the door and hit the go button but didn't remember to hold it until all the lights came on. It's back to 100%, what a deal, I'll clean the drum when it starts leaving marks on the paper. Thanks again, you guys are great!
